Easy Hungry is Good for Brain Health - People who are hungry often easy 'accused' easily obese or at risk of overweight. But recently a new study has found that people who easily hungry as little children experienced a slower cognitive decline when it reaches old age than people who always feel full.
"The results of this study we did not expect because other studies have shown that people who had a difficult life as a child was more likely to have problems such as heart disease, mental disorders to lower cognitive function than those whose childhood was not unhappy," said researcher Lisa L. Barnes, Ph.D. of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
The study, published in the journal Neurology, involved 6158 people with an average age of 75 years old and lives in Chicago. Then every three years until the end of the study in year 16, participants also underwent cognitive tests to measure changes that may occur in participants' brain function.
