Heart disease due to Thigh Fat [Part 2]

Heart disease due to Thigh Fat - According to recent studies, it is known that people who have a pear shape body where fat accumulation occurs in the thigh are also at risk of heart disease.

Research conducted by experts from UC Davis and reported in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, reported that gluteal fat stored in the lower body secretes two proteins with abnormal amounts.

This protein can cause inflammation and insulin resistance is a risk factor for heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

Insulin resistance itself refers to a group of risk factors that breed heart disease and diabetes fivefold. Risk factors include a large waistline, low levels of good cholesterol, high blood pressure, insulin resistance, and high triglyceride levels.

In the study, lead researcher Dr Ishwarlal Jialal and his team involving 45 patients with early insulin resistance with three risk factors. All respondents did blood tests, blood sugar, and blood pressure. Their protein levels were also examined and some tissues in the buttocks.

As a result the team found that the number of gluteal fat turned out to affect the amount of protein in the respondents who suffer from insulin resistance. Although protein is associated with high blood pressure and low levels of good cholesterol.

Moving on from the findings that they conclude, that the fat in the thighs and buttocks should not be underestimated. This is because fat can also lead to heart disease.
